GOVERNOR BARBOUR ISSUES PROCLAMATION CLOSING STATE OFFICES TO OBSERVE INDEPENDENCE DAY
Governor Haley Barbour has issued a proclamation to close state offices on Monday, July 6, 2009, in observance of the Fourth of July holiday which falls on a Saturday this year.

GOVERNOR BARBOUR ISSUES PROCLAMATION TO CLOSE STATE OFFICES IN OBSERVANCE OF HOLIDAYS
Governor Haley Barbour has issued a proclamation to close state offices on November 27, 2008, in observance of Thanksgiving Day; December 25, 2008, in observance of Christmas Day; and on January 1, 2009, in observance of New Year’s Day. According to the Governor’s proclamation, agency heads may close offices on November 28, 2008; December 26, 2008; and January 2, 2009, at their own discretion.
